A fantastic shoe that is great for those hitting the trails for the first time. This, the seventh version of the GEL-ENDURO, has plenty of cushioning and a Trail Specific Outsole specifically designed with reversed lugs for trail running, that provide improved traction on all types of terrain, particularly on uphill and downhill runs. The novice will also appreciate the Rearfoot GEL Cushioning System that eases the shock experienced during the impact phase, the Trusstic System that reduces weight without compromising structural integrity, and the exceptional durability that ASICS High Abrasion Rubber brings to critical areas of the outsole.

Visible Rearfoot GEL

ASICS GEL is a silicone-based cushioning system designed to meet the needs of both professional and recreational athletes. Rearfoot GEL provides cushioning in all directions, absorbs impact forces and helps to stabilise the foot during heel contact. The GEL in the heel is left exposed in this case.

Trusstic System

The Trusstic System is a light-weight moulded component which links the rearfoot and forefoot and shores the midfoot as it prepares for propulsion.
